About Kara: Having been self-employed in a creative field for several years, Kara wasn’t expecting to end up in a paralegal position. When she was looking for a position outside of her self-employment, it just so happened that Brianne was also looking to bring on a paralegal to fill an upcoming opening and thought the position could be a good fit for her. Kara joined Kampbell Legal Planning in October of 2022 and quickly found she loved the role! She enjoys helping clients through the estate planning process and finds this work to be very fulfilling.
Kara is originally from the Midwest and moved to Tacoma in 2017. She, along with her husband, Henry, and her dog, Nimbus, (a big, beautiful Great Pyrenees rescue) now consider Tacoma “home” and can’t picture ever living anywhere else. Outside of work, she likes to do embroidery and other fiber arts, read, listen to podcasts, work outside in the yard when the weather permits, and go on walks and hikes with her family.
